Walking through the city of New Orleans after Katrina, curbside hills of debris moaning their embedded stories through embodied energy, we could see a second harvest waiting to be threshed.
 
What follows is an emerging narrative about possibilities. Tied to social and environmental justice efforts in New Orleans, it is a response to the challenge that we find ways to build community from the rubble of Katrina’s wakes.
